Meet Krampus! This 4" round design from Spellbound Stitchery brings to life the horned figure from Central and Eastern Alpine folklore. Known as the darker counterpart to Saint Nicholas, Krampus visits during the Christmas season to frighten misbehaving children, while Saint Nicholas rewards the well-behaved with modest treats. This canvas captures the intrigue of this unique tradition, with the background color left for the stitcher to decide and the final shape merely suggested. Hand painted on 18 mesh, it’s a striking holiday project with a story to tell.
